Benefits of membership
- Members may attend all lectures in our main programme with no further charge. There are eight lectures in our main programme. Speakers are selected by our Programme Secretary and the Nerja DFAS committee from a panel of several hundred potential speakers maintained by NADFAS in London. While their background varies considerably, all speakers have a respected expertise in their subject and are good communicators. We arrange their flights from UK, local accommodation and pay them a significant fee to reflect the quality of the lecture. So our lectures are to a high standard, both authoritative and entertaining, by a well established lecturer. Lectures of this quality are not easily available.
- Members may attend all lectures in our extra programme with no further charge. These lectures or events are arranged generally using a local speaker, and the topic is usually one of local interest. Normally we arrange three extra lectures in the season.
At € 45, membership is outstanding value for money.
How to become a member
To become a member of Nerja DFAS is simple. Just give your details to the membership secretary and pay the season subscription of €45. The details we require are your name and postal address, phone number and email address (if you have one).
To rejoin from one season to the next, pay your subscription before the last lecture in May and receive a €5 discount.

Join before the next lecture
Give your details as above at the membership desk in the foyer of the Cultural Centre before the lecture.Pay the membership subscription for the current season of €45 either in cash or by cheque payable to Nerja DFAS at the membership desk.
Your membership card will be available either immediately or to collect at the next lecture from the membership desk in the foyer of the Casa Cultural.
Join after the next lecture
If, after attending a lecture as a visitor, you decide to become a member, show your visitor's ticket
at the membership desk after the lecture and you will be entitled to a €10 discount on the membership
subscription for the season.
You will be asked for your details as above and you should pay the €35 balance of membership subscription for the season either in cash or by cheque payable to Nerja DFAS at the membership desk. Your membership card will be available to collect at the next lecture from the membership desk in the foyer of the Cultural Centre.
